
Catherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 is a famous English comedian actor, writer, and actress. She has won numerous awards for her involvement in the BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007) in addition to getting nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate was Donna Noble's companion in Doctor Who's Christmas special of 2006. The actress later reprised her role and was later the Tenth Doctor's regular companion in the fourth series of Doctor Who in 2008. [2] Tate was the main character of Joanie Taylor ("Nan"), a comedy character she played on The Catherine Tate Show (2009-2015). Tate also appeared in The Nan Movie (2022). In 2011, Tate began an ongoing role in the role of Nellie Bertram on The Office, the U.S. edition of The Office. It played the character on a regular basis until the series' end. Tate portrayed the part of Miss Sarah Postern in the BBC One sitcom Big School (2013-2014) and she voiced Magica De Spell in the animated TV series DuckTales (2017-2021). In 2022, Tate starred as six characters in the Netflix comedy series, Hard Cell, which she also co-wrote and co-directed.
