The performer was born on November 26 1987 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. The father of the singer, Vincenzo Barba is her mother Valerie Barba. She and her family moved from Point Pleasant in New Jersey when she was 6. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her education formal at the time in New Jersey. She was a graduate of Catholic University in New Jersey with a bachelor's degree. She also played the violin at the age of four and was referred to as the Violin Lady. A result of her musical performance, she was referred to as Violin Girl. The children of her neighborhood were taught violin playing by her. When she turned 19, she appeared on Free 1976 on American Idol in the 6th season. The show was cut short when she was ranked 16th. She's sung a number of songs like 2009's "The Christmas Song' and 2010's Out for Blood. She also appeared in some television shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American when she competed in American Idol's sixth season. In addition, after being eliminated from the show after reaching the top 16 spots in the competition the show, she decided to test her hand at it in the screen. In 2012 she appeared on Fear Factor as an contestant, and also played minor roles in a few films. As per Daily Mail reports on November 21 2019 she was sentenced nearly 4 years in jail in connection with a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl. In July, the singer confessed to possessing around 400 grams of Fentanyl on her person with an intent to sell it. But she was detained while in the process of delivering around two pounds worth of the drug to a house of stash located in Virginia during October of 2018.
