Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe came from a multi-cultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Madekwe is English as well as her father is Nigerian. Her family was on the southern part of London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She went to an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an acting BA. She was a part of various stage productions during her college days, such as the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Following that success, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in a big family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley was raised in the arenas and baseball parks since her brothers, who were all athletic, were hockey players, baseball players, as well as both during winter and summer.
